HISTORY AND BACKGROUND

The Kwadaso SDA Hospital is a Mission Hospital which was established in 13th June, 1991. The hospital started as a clinic at the premises of Central Ghana Conference of SDA Church and was operating on Out-Patient Department (OPD) basis to take care of conference workers and their family. It was a day clinic with one medical officer with one nurse who took care of all round activities. The clinic shared premises with a bakery and SDA Educational Unit.

1n 1997, the Out Patient Department (OPD) was expanded with additional four (4) consulting rooms. Wards were expanded to become 68-bed hospital beds. The facility had a resident surgeon and complete theatre. Ultrasound scan services were provided.
